FINAL RISE
- Description of Vest
- Base price $300 - $315. Cost of system reviewed was $335
- Weight: 3.25Lbs
- Strap style vest with a unique MOLLE clipping component. The clipping system uses a metal clip that is inserted into the MOLLE webbing and uses the weight of the attachment to hold pressure as opposed to weaving a nylon strap through the MOLLE system and snapping into place.
- Game Bag overview and Specs and features (16.5”x 6.75”x 8”)
- Bird Bag/Game Bag is an open-air easy access compartment that is constructed in a manor to stay open. The game bag has three built in zipper pockets and will accommodate both a horizontal or a vertical water bladder that will set against the wearers back. The back of the game bag is made with a mesh that rests against the users back allowing heat dissipation when the vertical bladder is removed. On the outside of the bird bag is a bungee webbing setting on a solid material that can be used to secure larger items. This causes an A frame construction above the bird bag and allows air to flow through the bird bag and easy access to the contents of the bird bag.
- Final Rise sells a rear bag accessory pocket to attach to the bird/game bag that gives the hunter added storage in a good hauling position.
- Shell pocket Specs and features (5.5” x 2” x 9”)
- The Easy Access Shell Pockets are huge. The shell pockets have a zipper on the top and a flap that closes over and attaches with Velcro that allows for one to have the pocket semi secured but shells readily accessible. In the front of the Easy Access Shell Pocket there is a MOLLE system and a zipper pocket in front that measures 6 ½” x 3 ½”.
- Pockets fall near the outside of the stride path, near the out seam which allows unencumbered hiking and walking, only a few companies have placed these pockets perfectly and Final Rise is one of those companies.
- Shoulder Harness Specs and features
- The shoulder straps attach to the hip belt in the front. A mesh material in the back is attached in a H strap type manner. The mesh material allows for heat dissipation. The shoulder straps are fully adjustable 3” wide nylon straps with no padding. The lack of padding allows the straps to lay flat against the shooters body and reduces the chance of bad gun stock placement due to strap interference. There are shoulder attachment points for accessories like an electronics pouch, tethering or a strapping point for a hydration hose. Two on each shoulder strap accommodating both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The shoulder straps have an adjustable sternum strap that keeps the shoulder straps from slipping. The shoulder straps attach to an adjustable hip belt with a unique style of securing. The straps attach into the belts MOLLE system with a metal clipping system allowing the anchor point to change for preference.
- Waist Belt Overview
- The adjustable hip belt is a true weight bearing lumbar supported padded waist belt. The lumbar support padding on the belt is positioned so that the belt is extremely comfortable and helps distribute the weight between the shoulders and the hips. The front of the belt has two D-ring style tethering points. Great for tying off electronics or a multitool, objects used often. The exterior of the belt has an integrated MOLLE system to allow the user to set up the vest in the manner they like. It makes the adding or changing of accessories easy. This is great for set up in different environments
