- Key features include:
- Thick mesh material on the sides that holds the vest open approximately 3” allowing air to flow through the vest and makes easy access to place the game in the vest.
- The vest has a pocket to hold a water bladder
- horizontal zipper on the outside of the vest that opens to a pocket. The pocket goes up and down allowing longer items to be carried in the pocket.
- The suede material used on the belt is also used at the upper center of the back were the shoulder straps connect to the bird bag, also with adjustable straps.
- Shell pocket Specs and features (Pocket size: 2.5”x6”x7”)
- The vest I used had two different types of shell pouches. Both pouches can hold a box of 12 gauge shells easily.
- The first shell pouch had a Velcro flap that covers the access from the top.
- The second shell pouch had a zipper on the top and a smaller zipper in the front for an additional pocket.
- Water bottle and holders. The holder is adjustable to hold a standard 16.9 oz water bottle or expandable to hold larger than a 32oz bottle. The bottles are easily removed and replaced in and out of the holder. Tension can be adjusted to suit your personal preference.

- Shoulder Harness Specs and features
- The Pyke Wingman upland game vest is a Strap type vest that utilizes a seat belt material for the shoulder strap with a sternum strap across the chest. The shoulders are not padded, nor do they have any attachment points for gear. The seat belt material lays smoothly against the shoulder and chest area of the body. The shoulder straps are adjustable and connect to a nylon belt.
- Waist Belt Overview
- The waste belt has an integrated MOLLE system to hold attachments and accessories. The belt is extremely comfortable. The belt has padding and a suede leather lining on the inside were contact is made with the body. The rear of the belt has a thick Velcro area that matches up to Velcro on the bird bag. This allows for adjustments to the location of the bird bag. Not too low that it will bounce against your backside.
